  • Opened an hour before serving into large Bordeaux glasses. Dark red hue with light rim. Bouquet of fresh, sour, red fruits topped with cream and fleeting flowers. Cream diminishing with time in glass. Medium-light bodied with just a touch of fuzzy tannins but intense flavours on the palate. Mouthful of fruits finishing off as spicy, sour, dark chocolate. Grand Cru complexity. Not savoury or barnyard. Clean! Warming and delightful. Big wine by pinot noir standards. Not for lovers of restrained Burgundies but will appeal to most others. I think it will improve with bottle time but not sure for how long as I have little RSV experience.
