Popped and poured. The nose was pretty classic mature Bordeaux with berries, leather, earth, spice and some basil/mint type notes. Palate showed some nice cherry fruit with medium body weight and an easy finish. Wine started to fade after about an hour in the glass and became a little sour/bitter on the finish. I was expecting nothing, but was pleasantly surprised.
Gone gone gone. Probably peaked 10 years ago. Was still moderately drinkable, but very amber in color. Left in decantur for almost 2 hours, was almost like water. Oh well, bought it at a charity function, atleast the charity got something out of it!
