I have bottles from this vintage but purchased in different years. As of 2011 this particular bottle seems as if this vintage is nearing its 'best by' date. Drink soon.

Leo's Blind Tasting Group - June '11 edition (Restaurant Saul, Brooklyn): Quite pleasant initially with fresh pear and green apple fruit up front, light on its feet and nervy with bright acids, but there's also a faint sour/underripe character on the back end, and not much in the way of depth/complexity.

2002 Oregon Pinots - Tasted Blind (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Fairly light yellow color. Smoky nose. Somewhat bitter taste at first. Tasted blind.

Blind Tasting 2002 Oregon Pinots (with pre's and Burg ringers) (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Ripe lemon, chard nose. Medium bodied with high acidity. Tart lemon, lime and lemon sherbet. Tongue tingling acidity, which normally I enjoy but it was a bit out of balance here. Guessed village Chablis from a high-acid year like '07.

Crisp pear on the nose. Unoaked and very bright. Smooth and delicious. Nice summer drink. An excellent value at $18
