Interesting mix of new and old world styles. More fruity than Chablis but much more austere than a warmer climate Chardonnay. High acids, almost no nose, dried banana on the finish? Not sure what it wants to be.
Medium gold color. Aromas of lemon and pear with some marzipan notes. Palate has lemon, butterscotch, pear, apple, and some slight almond notes that carry into a medium finish. This is a bit fresher than the last bottle consumed, but still time to drink up this vintage for my tastes. Good bottle. Drink.
