Any CA or WA cabernet or syrah (Estrelle, St. Paul): Slow o'd a couple hours, this wine actually seemed a bit tired and uninteresting. Alcohol was evident. Either these wines don't age so well or there's bottle variation. Unscored.

I was wrong, didn’t last the five years. Showing some sign of life but is a very mature wine. Drink it up and lower your expectations.

Monthly Tasting Group: California and Washington Cabs/Syrah (Estelle, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red/purple color. Slow-O'd for a short time. Drank a glass over 90 minutes. Very big, bold blackberry cobbler and Creme de cassis, full bodied, woody/oaky.

Really tired. Bummer. Wet cigar ash, iodine, new leather shoes, stewed, sweet plums dipped in balsamic.
