Satisfyingly rich - nose w peppery oaked barnyard notes and brambles. Palate well rounded, full body, rich, silky texture but still a hint of bite from the tannins. Lingers well. Fruit starting to dry off a little, some plummy notes but overall a very good wine for your dinner. I doubt if it will improve w further cellaring-might become clumsier w time.
No notes taken. Fruit-driven easy drinking GSMC, excellent food wine. Black fruit and leather on the nose, fruit-driven palate with pepper and good length easy finish. For my guests this was the WOTN, for me it was the European counterpart la Bernardine.
