  • Finished the bottle 7/19/14. A very underappreciated rye whiskey offering from Suntory Jim Beam. My tasting notes are consistent with previous tastings. A worthwhile purchase especially at the $22 price point. -91 points-

  • Wonderful aromatics featuring vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, sweet cream, citrus, and floral notes. The rye presence is definitely there with a good amount of cinnamon and peppery spice coming to the forefront. The sweeter notes of honey, caramel, and brown sugar round out the flavor profile. There is also a little nuttiness in there as well. A very nice lingering finish! It's not my favorite rye whiskey, but it definitely isn't entry level either. -90 points-
