This is holding up very well with coffee grounds, cherry skin, light animale/barn notes; foresty fern notes and quite perfumy; medium bodied with a sort of redwood/cedar nuance with earthy gamey qualities along side raspberry-cherry sweet tarts; tangy finish with elevated acidity keeping it fresh. Don't leave in the glas to long though, as the aromas dissipate the acid remains making it a bit hard after a while. Compared with 1998 Flowers Camp Meeting PN. Renee France vs. CA tasting.

Translucent ruby hue. Nose of raspberry, blackberry, and minerals in an earthy infusion. Lots of iron and mineral on the palate initially then a linear beam of black fruits on the back end. Added complexity with Provencal market spice and leather mixed in. Tannins non angular, finish very long, echoing the blackberries harmoniously. Very impressive, but could age another 5 years before peaking.

Blind Night (Kevin): Dark ruby color. Tastes of cherry and anise. Earthy bitter finish. Tired.
