Rivanna Red to which natural flavorings of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice, anise, orange peel and residual sugar have been added. Best served well chilled or steaming hot. Tastes like cider. Great served with apple pie or ginger bread.

Extremely disappointed with this. Bought a bottle for Thanksgiving after loving it two years ago. Served it steaming hot, as recommended and previously enjoyed, but there is no enjoyable flavor to speak of, instead it was bitter and sour, and the guests were immediately turned off by it.

It's my first hot wine, and it's great. The nose is unbelievable, and sniffing the kettle while hot is like smelling those aromatic soaps you buy at body shops. Nice, warm flavors, cinammony. It's most impressive when it first hits the palate.
