  Opened by Allred. This finished 4th in our blind tasting of 8 wines and was my 3rd favorite of the night. 3rd time I have had this wine. Dark purple color. This had a nice smokiness to it with deep red fruit notes and firm tannins. 91 points.

  Cab Showdown: Michigan v West Coast (Chateau Vino Me): Blind. Dark color. Nice plummy dark fruit to open, followed by waves of cherry cordial, raspberry and chocolate. Full-bodied with a plush texture and flavors of plum and dark fruit. This had been double decanted off its sediment about three hours earlier.
