A pale yellow color, medium plus intensity on the nose with aroma characteristics of lemon, crisp green apple, following by a layer of honey with a touch of spice. On the palette a dry wine, nicely balanced with medium high acidity, no tannins, medium bodied, more ripe apple and pear coming through on the medium finish. Overall a very good wine.

An enticing nose of acacia, pear, and salinity. Very Burgundian. On taste, a citrus and mineral driven wine. The juicy flavors coat the palate with a nice mineral driven finish. A bit lite on the body but generally balanced with the acidity. For an American wine this is outstanding. It is comparable and in the same class as white burgundies. Very nice.

Adelsheim Tasting (Binny's on Clark - Chicago, IL): A little rougher around the edges than the Pinot Gris. More noticeable acidity. Lighter tropical fruit and some citric notes as well. Lime, honey dew and some lean oak. Shorter finish.
