  Medium ruby, touched with garnet throughout. Quite narrow paler rim shows a little brick. Lovely complex nose is brightly floral, with sweet raspberry fruit as well as touches of earth, spices and gamey meat. Mouth entry is medium weight and supple, with plum and strawberry fruit. Very nicely balanced and fills with earthy, gamey nuances on the mid-palate. Unobtrusive tannins, that show as a dryness on the finish. Top **, a lovely luncheon wine. **
