  • A big and powerful Riesling. Dark golden color - some oxidation, complex on the palate with stonefruits, petrol flavors typical of aged Riesling, some botrytis influence with notes of bitter oranges and honey. - 91 points

  • Even more rich than last time. Held it's own in an Alsace vs Austria vs Germany (Mosel) Riesling wine dinner. Ended up in the middle as far as body and finish. Slightly deeper golden color as well. I think this will go for quite a long time and just get richer on the palate with a longer finish.

  • A big and powerful Riesling. Dark golden color - clearly some oxidation, complex one the palate with stonefruits, petrol flavors typical of aged Riesling, some botrytis influence with notes of oranges and honey, more so than usual with Prager wines, but then 2008 was a huge Botrytis year in the Wachau, no sweetness and great balancing acidity. A very golden and ripe style of Riesling, not usually my preffered style but this is really excellent. - 91 points

  • I am not a Riesling guy but this was fantastic. Good solid body without being syrupy, floral taste with peach, vanilla but no lingering aftertaste. really nice, drank with someone from the region who assured me that this was the standard for her homeland. will buy some more
