Kork i meget god forfatning, ut i en bit uten problemer. Mursteinsrød med nyanser av orange og brun. Forsiktig lukt av skogbunn og ørlite sherry. Rundt og kraftig anslag. Konsentrert smak. Fruktig. Mørke kirsebær. Stor fylde med litt god sødme. Lett godt integrert krydder. Ingen merkbare tanniner. Utrolig lang ettersmak. En veldig god vin. Holder godt og fortsatt ikke for gammel.
Same comment as last time. This wine needs a long time to breathe in the decanter. It is very close to being past its best - at least that has been the case for the last couple of bottles. To begin with it seems to be lacking body in as much as it doesn't seem to be'together'. After about an hour or so, it starts to resolve and all the elements come together to show it as it should be - almost. This is not a big body, full mouth wine at this point, more a beautiful fine old wine.
Very very good - took an hour or so before it was at its peak, but drinking very well now and one of the better bottles of Allegrini Amarone I've ever had. Slight twist on the fruit kept it from being a 95 or higher... big, explosive, spicy, full, complex
