  • Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Dark cherry color with a bit of rust. Nice nose of white pepper, tobacco, plums. Elegant on the palate, as the bottle age has enriched things. Cherries, copper, and cooked-fruit notes join in a pleasant texture. Nice finish, with a wave of spices ahead of light velvety tannins. A thoroughly respectable bottle with flavors toward the savory side. Four years of bottle age has helped it.

Med long finish. 40% Mourvèdre/25% Zinfandel/19% Syrah/16% Grenache. 14.3% alcohol. Production 640 cases
