  • 06, 07 and 08 tasted on two separate occasions, the 07 our favourite.
2 bottles had a hint of oxidation and overall the wines were for drinking rather than further cellaring. Prodigious amounts of sediment in the 07, less in the others. All three a brickish colour, with a nose of dried flowers, resin, cranberries, mint and other high toned aromatics. Definitely a mature nose. Christmas cake palate carried by along by fresh acidity which sits well with the evolved flavours and aromatics. Great character and interest, super food wine.

  • Very similar notes to the last bottle we drank in October of 2022. This time I wasn't as lucky with the cork. It was a bear to remove and it broke with about 3/4 of it removed. There were plentiful solids to remove too. The wine is still fresh and delicious with excellent flavors of red and dark red fruit. Drank over four days and the last day wasn't it's best.

  • Charming. All elements in place and fully integrated. Two hours in the decanter and another hour back in the bottle. Two bottles left.

  • Firstly, the cork on this bottle was very long at about 55mm. It was really well planted and took a lot of effort to remove it! It didn't break and seemed fresh as wall The wine was also surprisingly fresh, fruity, and well integrated. There was no off-color to it whatsoever. Be warned that there are lots of solids that should be filtered out. We decanted it about an hour. It reminded me of the wines we tasted at the winery in 2010 where every wine was full and fresh and gloriously presented.
