Better than my bottle from 2014. Fairly aromatic on the nose, with a perfumed character. On the palate, it's gained some depth and rounded out a bit. Still not the most complex Barolo, and probably not worth the $50 I paid at auction. Nevertheless, this time around, this is much more enjoyable. My last bottle, but if I had more I'd lay them down for at least another 3 years.

Nice Barolo with some age. Alcohol is still strong a nice rusty red color and an earthy nose. Fruit is a bit muted and could still develop over the years.

I generally like everything "Nebbiolo". And I "like" this. But it drinks more as a generic nebbiolo that it does a Barolo. Flat and uninspiring. No obvious flaws (e.g. TCA). Devoid of distinguishing character on the palate. Drinkable and pleasant, but disappointing given what I paid for this on auction. Maybe it needs more time, but I'm having a hard time seeing enough fruit to suggest this will age well.

(Prunotto Barolo Bussia) Medium dark red violet color; redolent, tart cherry, tart cranberry nose; tasty, tight, tart cherry, cranberry, mineral palate; needs 10 years; medium-plus finish

Decanted two hours. Flavors are fine, low tannins. Just not inspiring, and overrated by Galloni, I don't see waiting longer to consume.

Quite a bit of wood spice on the nose and tannin on the palate. Nice red fruit and roses. A bit thin, but rounded out after 2 hours in the decanter.
