Hazy soft red with some bricking. Surprisingly mature...I guess the modern style wines age much faster. The nose is beautiful and reminiscent of a traditional Barolo with 30 or 40 years of age, good fruit on the palate...dried cherries and strawberries, no noticeable oak, tannins very light and integrated. I have no idea if this wine will plateau here but it is very advanced compared to what I'm used to from the region. A very pretty wine right now.
Decanted 3 hours. Dark opaque red color. Nose was a bit Strange, difficult to actual descripe it something like wet earth or mold/funkis but nothing in the taste. Palate was dark berries, some spice, leather. More mature than expected, could be the 3 hour decant. Nice Barolo.
