Comes across as much younger than it is, with lots of ripe full fruit leading the way. If there's a clue to its age, it's that all the American Oak has integrated so that it's not at the forefront anymore. Structure still holding it all nicely in place. This is never going to be the long haul wine that a Monte Bello is, but I'd be in no rush to drink up.
Decant .30min. Surprisingly no sediment. Nearly 10 years in the bottle, Bordeaux like nose and palate, with currants, cassis, cedar, smoke earthy minerals, complex and decadent. Based on this well stored bottle, no hurry to drink!
