  This completely un-oaked red wine is rather one dimensional. Although it has good acidity and lots of fruit it is lacking in finish. Light plum notes are found in the nose, with hints of fresh fig and anise in the flavor. I am sure I would love this if it was seasoned with a bit of oak. I am also sure this would be a good wine to make a Sangria with, since the fruit and acidity are quite forward.
