Always a crowd pleaser. Non-wine-drinkers adore it, and wine aficionados don't frown upon it. I think every Italian restaurant should offer this by the glass as a dessert wine pairing. It's always consistent and predictable (in a good way) and they honestly don't need the vintage designation since it tastes exactly the same year over year. Rose petals, and macerated strawberries and raspberries soaked in liquor. There really is no better wine to pair with bittersweet dark chocolate. Wine to open if you want to get laid that night.
