Cloudy in glass with rich ripened strawberry fruit almost to the point of slightly rotted strawberry. Just so sweet and ripened. Man .... I love this type of Pinot Noir which shows that it could age.
Medium to full body. Bottle was opened for 90 minutes which I am sure helped this wine to reveal the fruit.
Held up surprisingly well despite a little secondary fermentation in bottle and a hint of RS. Stylistically it could be confused for Zinfandel of the same age owing to the full body, wild fruits, and sucrosity. Still, tasty enough. In a lineup of restrained pinots, it stuck out, but truthfully showed better than I would have imagined and would be great on its own with some BBQ chicken. Just decant off the extra spritz!

Blind this stood out from the blinds from Oregon and Burg. Huge dark cherry fruit, very sappy, but there was a nice zip on the palate and ETOH wasn’t too intrusive—although it was there. Didn’t hold up well on night 2 where is showed more roasted and overblown. Better at cooler temps for sure. While I’m not usually a fan of the style this held up surprisingly well in comparison

Has held up much better than expected at 20 years. Still a ton of sweet fruit in a slightly overblown style clearly the outlier in a group of mixed international pinots.
