  De mieux en mieux, il faut l`attendre mais ça
  vaut la peine. JE le répète, c`est pas mal la seule maison qui vaut le coup avec Casa Ferreirinha pour leur Reserva Especial et aussi F. Olazabal avec leur Quinta do Vale Meão!
  Belle complexité avec des saveurs de prunes et de
  cerises, un peu d`épices et des tanins veloutés.
  Long et suave, bien aimé encore une fois.

  Super beau, un des rares Portuguais que jai autant aimé
  dans les 7-8 dernières années!
  Beau nez fragrant sur les petites cerises et les épices.
  En bouche, cerises à fond avec un peu de poivre et une pointe
  de menthol, c'est frais et c'est long, les tanins sont fins et tout est
  en équilibre. Vraiment top cette bouteille!

  UWS a random set of wines (@ JB): In the bouquet a lot of garrigue, some rustic flavors and tobacco. On the palate dark berries, herbs, oak and vanilla as well as impressions of iron. No hurry drinking this wine.

  Still deep in colour, muted nose.
  After one hour cherries and acid like a Chianti mixed with some notes of overripeness and oxydation (raisins).
  The latter disappeared after 1,5 -2 hours of aeration. The wine gained weight and length and Tannins seemed to rival with fresh fruit.
  The texture (mouthfeel) is like a Medoc Second Cru. The flavour is like a blend of traditional Rioja and a Chianti Riserva.
  
  Even better on day two.
  
  Although this wine was more opulent in its youth, it is still an excellent wine on it´s second Peak and now in a really distinguished shape.
  
  Will further develop to more complexity and elegance for at least 5 years.
  Opulence lovers should rather drink it up.
