Definite red cherry flavors at the outset is somewhat of a surprise but then fills the mouth with deeper cassis flavors and settles nicely. Not a lot of structure - tannins quite soft but all in all a nice, drinkable cab.
Been drinking a bottle of this cab every couple of months and it is still good. Aromas of ripe cherries, then it floods the mouth with more fruit and soft tannins. Not much oak was perceived. It is a fruitier expression of a Rutherford cab that has become my go-to wine. Glad I bought an entire case!
