Mainly red fruit: cherries and cranberries, Vosne spices, mouth coating, still a certain acidity, but well in balance. Very good wine for a 2008 Burgundy.

This is in a pretty good place. Open and giving; high toned (not surprising given producer and vintage); some five spice vosne-ness. Feels young, but not sure this is meant for old bones. That said- age and a different aeration treatment (decanting 30min and drinking over a couple hours) might bring out more complexity and interest

Mostly an intellectual exercise right now; tight, not very giving. It feels like there's enough here to make this rather interesting in ~10 yrs (give or take 5), but that's just a hunch.
