  Starts out with decent flavors, but a fair amount of heat (14.8% if I recall correctly). Set it aside, see if the heat blows off......no. Worse, the nice flavors that initially were hiding behind the heat morph into something akin to a kids wading pool....that kind of rubber/plastic on both the nose and palate. Down the drain. 70-75 points.

  Decent Pinot. Fairly deep red, some hints of purple. Cherry, spice, mint, some earthiness. Medium body, medium acid, medium finish.

  Vibrant and dark ruby red color with a nose that is just as vibrant and fruit forward, full and robust.
  A sharp entry that mellowed, yet stayed the course with a rounded and warm mouth feel and a lingering finish that was not overshadowed by tannin or acidity, but rather a bright texture of strong fruit.
  With time this wine may gain some elegance, but right now I am enjoying the robust nature of a full bodied and full bored wine...
