  Wanted to try their entry level champagne after having, and loving, the Palm d'Ors.
  
  Not as complex, understandably. Similar nutty and brioche characteristics. The tartness and astringency compete with it here and it leaves a less pleasant impression. After warming up, the balance seemed to equalize a bit.
  
  A decent drink at the QPR, but nothing outstanding.
