This is a decent Condrieu. The bouquet is a little muted compared to what I was expecting, but with coaxing there is honeysuckle, apricot, pear, honeydew, and jasmine. The palate is good and has balance, but lacks some of the richness and flavor that I would expect from a really good Condrieu. Overall I would say this is good, but not great.

Berry Bros 2008 Rhone tasting (1 Great George Street, London): Nose is more restrained than the Ogier Condrieu. Honey on palate with caramel finish. Well structured and very good. Slightly too alcoholic with a hint of burn, but this may well fade before the lovely crispness disappears too.
