(Hunt Country Vineyards Riesling Dry Finger Lakes) Green apple, lime and grapefruit pith are backed by a faint fennel seed note on the moderately aromatic nose. Those green apples continue on the zesty, slightly tart palate with grapefruit and grapefruit pith in the background. Very dry, there is a little bit of the classic Finger Lakes slate character too. Bright and flavorful up front, the flavors drop off just a bit too quickly, but it deftly avoids the "acid water" tendency of some dry rieslings.

Brilliant and clear, fruit nose, light body and mouthfeel. Tastes lightly of mineral and acid, better with food.
