Ongoing stunning barbaresco. Nose is light tar and roses with a significant mineral background. Palate is bright nebbiolo fruit, leather, with a big hit of acidity that adds to the mouth tingling quality. Moderate tannic hit at end... Great QPR. I'm pushing back the drink by date a bit, because 2017 seems too soon.
Solid barbaresco. Typical floral red fruited nose. Palate was medium weight, high acidity as expected, and reasonably expressive after 1hr of air especially with food. Can be drunk now with a decant but of course should improve with additional cellar time (prob 5+ yrs). More open than my last bottle 18mos ago.
disappointing bottle, fruity style, but already after 10 min in the glass signs of oxidation, a lot of tannins left, so it was too early to drink this, but I don't think this wine has the structure to wait until the tannins will have be integrated
