  There was concern this might be past it's prime. Fear not! It was in the window of maximum drinkability. Nice nose, good fruit that was layered , and a long medium finish that was so enjoyable. My last bottle--but it was quite the star!

  Fantastic bottle. Still going very strong. Great color and fruit for being 15 years old.

  Brought to drink at Oinoscent during service, tasted almost 1hr after

  Tasted in Riedel Degustazione glass
  The wine shows beautiful lively color
  In the nose the wine shows a fascinating attractive perfume, decadent, floral notes, high intensity, ripe red fruits, cherries, sweet spices, thin oak frame.
  In the palate, the wine shows fresh profile, a touch elevated acidity, warmth (14.70%), medium body, ripe raspberries/cherries, cinnamon candy, clove, still showing tannins with long finish
  - Transfered in Riedel Performance Pinot Noir -
  In the nose the wine shows a heartier, sous bois, spicy profile. The fruit feels darker and riper too. There is a hint of whole cluster herbal bitterness. With more time, you also get a fresher raspberry note.
  In the palate, the wine shows its glory. The fruit is again darker, the tannins are more evident, its far more savoury and spicier. It shows more body, more "whole cluster" character, long finish.
  Outstanding quality, would keep it for more

  Enjoyed with 2013 and 2014 KB RRV over Thanksgiving celebration. This 08 was in a different league given age although all are typically great Pinots.
  Vanilla, cola, red fruit combined with minerality and a floral nose. wonderful finish. Drinking beautifully.
