Sour, premoxed. Old world, I'm not an old world gal. Old, stale turned, dark. Carmel. Dead, tired, meh, wheat. Old world white burgundy like old sauterne. Old world, complex, dead.

Perfectly fine - really good in fact, no premox here at all.
Actually - this is really damn good, I need to up the score. Pretty floral nose with white flowers, the palate is thick and juicy with lots of butterscotch. Love the finish. Drinking perfectly right now.

Establishment's Second Birthday (Establishment Restaurant, Manchester): This had a buttery sweetish fruit nose with a hint of melon and a hint of mushroom. Round and open on the palate, initially it feels a touch simple, but left in the glass, with time it builds into something really quite full and complex, yet retaining an appropriate elegance. It worked well, not so much directly with the mullet, but with the residual flavours in the mouth after the food has been swallowed. Very Good Indeed/Excellent.

Tasted at McCarthy & Schiering, this was a darned nice pour. The nose was explosively spicy with toasted filbert and a more mature White Burg feel to it. It was definitely one of those that makes you say "whoa!" when you put your nose in the glass! The texture on the palate was perhaps the high point for me, very lush and silky. From there your tongue takes a wild ride buoyed by racy acidity with a very tropical palate, some mango and exotic flavors. The finish shows more spice. Lovely wine.

Tired and disappointing. Went okay with fish pie but just wasn't as good as I expected it to be.
