light ruby/red colour. nice maturing nose off small red fruits, spice, sous bois. A little light on for fruit and is somewhat dry and slightly too tannic, most likely the year. Longish finish.

Mixed WTDS at The Kenwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Dark red color. Three hours of slow-O time. Drank a glass over 90+ minutes. Pretty nose, nicely earthy and damp, red and black fruits, nutmeg and generous spice notes. The palate is medium full bodied, satiny texture with great mouth watering acidity, tart red cherry, black raspberry, raspberry, very earthy, underbrush, classy spices and round tannins with nice length. 93+pts.

Opened 3hrs & slow oxed in blt & Riedel Burgs before leaving for dinner at a local Minneapolis favorite, The Kenwood. Pretty nice from get go but glad it had those 3hrs at home & about 90 mins more at the venue. By the time we poured this, it was rocking! Semi Translucent ruby red in my Riedel Burg stem. Lovely forest floor & berry aromas waif from the glass. By this time, the palate was completely silky & elegant with palate staining dark raspberry, dark cherry, mineral everywhere, sous bois and other harmonics. The length was amazing. This just would not quit on the finish. Superb Chambolle &, Burgundy. Delighted to have a couple more I'll drink over the next 5-15yrs if, this doesn't outlast me. 95+

A bit chewy with a very distinct earthy taste. More fruit aromas after breathing for a bit but still very tight. Will need to revisit to let decant and breathe more
