Brick red in color. No real nose to speak of. The palate is showing strawberries and tart cherries, with the tannins and acid still evident. Still very drinkable but ready to ride off into the sunset. Still, a fun experience in aged Beaujolais.

perfect wine with sweet ham and polynesian dishes - complex nose bursting with cherries and raspberries; same fruits throughout, with hint of smoke on the finish - still drinking very well, but would not plan to hold much longer in the cellar as not sure this will improve any more

Great food wine with sweet dishes; spiral cut ham, candied yams - loads of cherries, great age and bouquet - wish i had another case

Deep red purple, slight bricking at rim, but only just.
Nose of dark fruits and cherries. Brooding.
Big wine in mouth, candied black cherries, edge of manganese, and a touch of game comes into the finish. Very dense, compressed wine. Classic Moulin.
I've had one a year since release and this was my favorite.
At hour three starting to taper slightly.

($8) Grown up Beaujolais. Fruity strawberry zest nose, tart palate. Good with food I suppose.
