The mouthfeel is a little strange because the wine seems very plush and thick, like lots of chunky fruit is in your mouth, but at the midpalate the wine turns high-toned and lighter. Okay.

Nice fruit and no oxidation. The tannins are largely gone and there is a lot of sediment. Very pleasurable drink for 17-year-old Santa Barbara wine.
