Popped Cork at 2pm, just left open to breath til dinner , didnt want to decant as the vines are young. Took an inital taste on pop there was heat and oak on the nose that def wasn't at 530 integrated well
C: Opaque A: Med+ Int, Youthful Black Olives, Blackberry/Liquor, Fat[Bologna], Dark Savory/Umami think Vegemite T: med+ acid, med tannin, med+ body, med+ finish Blackberry, Smoke, Dark/Earthy, Meaty
Conc: Very Refreshing, it doesn't feel heavy its good you could drink a bottle and not feel weight down, but def very fresh
A: Sweet Caramel, Red Fruit/Stinky/Earth, Brocolli, Fatty, Meaty, Cabbage
T: Round, Creamy, Red Good Fruit, Spice, Earth
Conclusion These vines are only 5years old I think if that, the potential is there I would love to see how this shows with older vines, maybe the 2012-2015 vintage. Its Delicious right now but does not have that depth of Character
