I seldom have the chance to taste war years wines, and while most are not exciting, the chance to participate in liquid history is never lost on me. Light tea with some ruby in color, the light wine offered a leafy, incense and spice profile with some, fresh cherries at its core. The wine was bright, tart and crisp in the strawberry oriented finish.
