  One of those bottles I have no idea how, or when I got it. Light, red in color, the nose initially offered strong floral, tobacco and red cherry notes. Light on the palate, this would be a dead ringer for an older, faded Burgundy with its bright, tart cherry fruits. The first 10 minutes offered the most fun, as the wine quickly faded after that.

  Earthy, tea, tobacco and sharp red fruits on the nose and palate. Light in body, and not holding much interest, this should have been consumed at least 2 decades ago.

  Gut erhaltene Flasche, upper shoulder. Ohne Dekantieren serviert. Anfangs vor allem Stall und etwas altes Holz, dann öffnet sich der Wein mit einer schönen Komplexität, und hinzu kommen leichte Räuchernoten, etwas Bienenwachs und ein Tick flüchtiger Säure. Im Mund mittleres Volumen, Struktur sehr gut in Schuss, noch Reste von roten und schwarzen Beeren mit gute Säure, dezente Laubnoten angenehme, ganz leicht austrocknende Tannine, perfektes Gleichgewicht. (Am nächsten Tag nachverkostet, aber jetzt spielt sich die flüchtige Säure unangenehm in dern Vordergrund.) Ex Icono, offen. (90/100)
