First of two bottles.
Low-mid shoulder fill.
Cork in decent condition given age; came out whole.
Relatively pale hue but not showing undue ambering.
The nose was all tertiary with traditional cigarbox, spices, earthy elements.
Godd complexity and intensity. There seem to be some similarities between the 52 and 62 vintages in the Medoc. Both show a firm acidity, lighter structure but an ability to age rather well.
Drink over next 3-5 years.
