  • A "super Tuscan" wine with a distinctly "old world" touch. Brick red with orange/yellow on the edges in color. Plum and dust on the nose. Not full bodied, but with a distinct soft and round texture. Plums on the palate, backed up by tannins (strong immediately after opening but rapidly receding afterwards), a little touch of wood. A long finish, but a weak (albeit elegant) one, with slight hints of eucalyptus. A wine that is at its peak now and maybe for another year or so.

  • Medium ruby red and already showing some bricking. Barnyard on the nose with mocha and cherries. Restrained. Full-bodied with red fruit and not much else. Tart finish.
