  Smells of dark chocolate, cassis, smoke, cigar box, black olive tapenade and balsamic. It is richly fruited and waves of vinous sweetness cut with savoury nuance fills every crevice of the mouth. The sweetness holds for a long time on the palate before substantial tannins roll in, adding support and grip to the overall delicious package. There’s a hint of volatility and a whip of tart cranberry punctuates the finish.
