I just love this wine. The only bad thing about it is that it is my last bottle. Starts out tasting like a modern viognier and over an hour or three the flavors of mushrooms and earth come out. One of the most distinctive transformations I have ever experienced in a wine.
I love Viognier and at 23 years old, this wine is still holding on. The first glass was a little too cold but once it warmed a bit, the favors started really coming out. It was great to experience the evolution over a few hours between dinner courses.
