  J'étais, à la fois, curieux et inquiet d'ouvrir cette bouteille, me demandant si ce vin blanc avait résisté à l'épreuve du temps.
  Mon visage s'est éclairé en versant délicatement ce beau liquide jaune citron. Je tenais là un excellent vin dont la superbe robe apparaît limpide, brillante et dense, son bouquet est très fin, évanescent (fleurs blanches) et sa bouche appétissante possède une belle richesse minérale avec de jolies notes de noisette qui pourrait le faire confondre, à l'aveugle, avec un beau Bourgogne blanc malgré sa minéralité verticale et sa vivacité apportée par de fins tannins, distingués, de classe. Un très beau vin pur, enjôleur!

  Julien S-M's 1990 Bordeaux (RSJ, London): Blind. Mid straw. Quite an intense, slightly chloriney nose with a touch of gooseberry. A touch of cream coming through too. Denser palate, a little wax and lanolin, richer in texture but with quite a fresh finish before a waxier bottom note and extended finish. Quite interesting. Quite rich, but there's a pronounced acidity coming through on the back end. Maybe not the ripest of vintage? Oops, it's 89. Olivier. Needs food and could be a bit of an effort over a full bottle, but a pleasant second aperitif. ***
