  • Tasted immediately after opening. Light golden colour. Lovely nose; yellow apples, a whiff of tropical fruit, nice minerality and subtle oak. Rich and creamy on the palate. Great acidic structure and considerable length. I liked this wine a lot although the style took me a bit by surprise. This was not the slender and steely Chablis I’m used to, but rather something more reminiscent of a central Burgundian (albeit not as smoky and buttery). The recommended drinking window suggests that present day consumption is too early. Considering how much I enjoyed this wine today it will be very interesting to see how my last bottle develops during the course of the next few years.

  • Surprisingly oaky, but excellent concentration and grip. Very youthful, should be superb in a decade.
