Opened alone on a weeknight and totally defied my expectations; this was fresh, alive, full of currant, tobacco, red bell pepper, a bit of fresh sawn cedar. Brilliant winemaking.

Fruit has melted into secondary flavors - earth, tabacco, cedar. Quite delightful. Shockingly dark red, drinking young. Short finish.
A great wine! Fruit is mostly gone, but excellent secondary left bank Bordeaux style flavors emerging.
old and faded, bitter. suspect provenance issues given the number of other old bottles from this source that were no good.
not old at all, lots of fruit, well balanced, good finishsome years left apparently!
