The wine is understandably oxidized but still provides complexity with nuances of stone fruit and a full mouth feel. Really long finish. The wine started to fall apart after 2 hrs, all things considered quite enjoyable

This wine held up surprisingly well - as do most on the Martinelli chardonnays. If you enjoy older chard's this one still has a couple of years life left...

Still that light gold color and even at refer temperature a nose of tart citrus and maybe some stone fruit nuances that seem to be fading. This had a simple entry and a light grip of fruit at mid palate that did seem to accelerate to a firm rounded finish...sort of a sleeper with all the components finally together, but not in an assertive way.

Still has the tell tale Gold Ridge creaminess but the fruit is starting to fade. Still, for a 7 year old, it's still quite lively and fresh and improves as it warms (served from fridge temperature). Colour is a light gold and doesn't hint at its 6+ year age.
I think that I left this one a year or two too long. It's not over the hill by any stretch and is still a very nice bottle with a good acidic backbone, but it has lost some of the excitement it once had and doesn't have any new tricks to show for the

Again...a light gold color and smooth and muted nose of citrus, green apple, and maybe some melon. Easy entry and a light fruit grip with a quick finish...drink up.
