Good wine for the price. Nose jumps out of the glass with lots of bright fruit and a touch of earth. Palate is nice with beautiful, rich fruit (more than I expected for Oregon). A little earth underlies but the finish is short and it's still a touch hot. Would be happy to drink again anytime.
very nice. bright cherry fruit - my wife and i thought it would have passed for a californian; but very pleasant, smooth and well rounded. enjoyable. prob at its peak window now through next 1-2 years is my guess.
Out of a magnum. This was also nearly as good as the '06 I had on the same day. I'll give both an 89 because I think this will be as good or possibly better than the '06 in another two years or so. Shows its Burgundian influence.
