Big, fat, round and weighty, with just enough acid to keep it together. Quite an opulent wine, and a very special treat... but to be completely honest this is not a wine I would buy personally even if it were 1/4th the price. I prefer a bit more zip and brightness, style-wise. But delicious stuff, no doubt.

From a bottle stored since release. Much more evolved than expected, but not showing any sign of premox. This was incredibly dense and rich, buttery and beautifully textured. Lemon zest and melted butter in the nose. I’d drink this now, that being said this is the only botte I had of this wine ever, so I have no experience to base that statement on.
