Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Pnp. Fully mature. Pours a murky garnet red in the glass with a touch of bricking at the rim. Tight upon opening showing cinnamon spiced raisins and barely there red berries. With plenty of air this begins to unfold stretching its legs into a red fruit, spice driven, mineral and decayed florals nose and palate. The sediment in the glass added a beautiful texture to the midpalate and gave this a rustic character that belies its appellation. Just lovely and a great example of what lesser known appellation Burgundy can become.
