3/6, good cork. Decanted and immediately served. Medium/deep ruby/garnet core, pale rim. Nose shows sweet red and black fruit, quite black-toned actually, vanilla, spice, plus some smoke and cedar with time in glass. Medium bodied, sweet red and black fruit on initial entry, round, soft tannins, cedar, some spice and savour, lovely vibrant acids carry a good length finish with a note of leather and just a touch of sandiness right at the tail end. Excellent though, drinking very nicely though there’s no hurry.

Great 20 years of maturity. Balanced fruit and tobacco with some spice. After a 4 hour decanting the acid and tannins are there for support. Try a 5-6 hour decanting next.

Plenty of incense and spice over the dark cherry fruit. Needs a little more time for full maturity

Still complex and balanced on day two. Minimal tannins are the only downside. Decanted 3 hours prior on day one.
